Félicia Kocher is a young goldsmith from Basel. After winning first place in the Swiss Goldsmithing Championship in her fourth year of training, she completed her apprenticeship with Beat Lehmann with honors.
Her curiosity about other cultures, people, and languages subsequently drew her to Central America. This inspiring journey was followed by a position with goldsmith Bernhard Lang. At the same time, she created her own designs in her studio, mostly using Corian®. These colorful pieces sparked her interest in a more artistic approach to wearable jewelry. She therefore decided to pursue further education as a guest student at the Pforzheim University of Design. During three instructive and inspiring semesters, she took advantage of the wide range of workshops on offer and attended courses in ceramics, enameling, screen printing, painting, sculpture, and artistic photography.
Félicia Kocher adds a colorful touch with her jewelry. She wants to encourage people to be more daring and wear eye-catching jewelry not only on special occasions, but also in everyday life. In addition to classic jewelry, she likes to experiment with different materials, whereby goldsmith precision is of central importance in all her work.
