My photographic eye is guided above all by the emotions of a moment. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively, which has allowed me to build up a particularly diverse photo library. These travels are an inexhaustible source from which sometimes unexpectedly a poetic line and often an alternative view of reality spring forth, giving rise to my creations, which are mainly inspired by cinema, literature, and even comics.
As a teenager, I dreamed of telling stories through pictures. But after a year of preparatory courses in film in Paris, I quickly realized the limitations of film production. I ended up working for many years in an association for the visually impaired, but without ever forgetting photographic design. This professional episode made me realize how important images are for understanding our world. Today, with the help of photomontages, I am free to tell stories or create tributes that often have a parodic touch. I now have my own studio in Haut de Cagnes, the Atelier d'OliR, and regularly exhibit at markets and galleries.
